This is a NEW hunting opportunity the Colorado Division of Wildife is offering to Whitetail hunters in several of eastern Colorado's top trophy producing areas! Numerous units in 2008 & 2009 are now open to WHITETAIL ONLY permits. In 2008 these permits were extremely easy to draw, in fact 100% in most cases.  Archery & Muzzleloader tags were both 100% draw and the rifle permits were 94% draw. Our outfitter took 12 whitetails in 2008, 7 of them gross scoring over 160" B&C.  This is one of the best hunts in the west for a 150" - 180" Whitetail! 2009 Australian (Asiatic) Buffalo Specials
Looking for something totally different for '09??

Why not try hunting Australia's most popular big game species, the huge Asiatic buffalo, in the premier Arnhem Land wilderness concession. This is a vast unfenced aboriginal reserve with a very large herd of 'water' buffalo.  This is not just a great hunt but a total Australian outback experience - you get the incredible scenery, wildlife, comfortable bush camp, adventure unlimited...and visiting with the local Yolgnu people - the traditional owners of this tribal land. The trophy and management hunts are suitable for most experience and fitness levels and are especially suited to corporate and family groups. In 2008 Global Hunting Resources clients harvested an impressive line-up of huge trophy bulls, including the biggest of the season for this concession - a 114 inch monster by Howard Langley. 2009 is shaping up to be another great year in this area and GHR has a few limited places at a discounted rate. To close-out the '09 season we are offering FREE charters to be included in the standard pricing schedule for GHR clients.

GHR affiliates will be hosting a trip to this wonderful location in June/July 2009, if you are interested in joining us, please contact us at your earliest convenience.

Guys, once again we are selling this hunt at a reduced price for 2009.  I sent this one out last week as well, but the outfitter has restructured the price abit, so we are offering it again. Pictured here is the Lion I shot it June 2008, this was without question one of the best lion hunts I have ever done.  In only 11 days I saw 26 different lions, I could not believe the amount of cat activity in the area.  I had no doubt I was going to shoot a beautiful lion, this one being my 9th!! NEW AREA - NEVER BEFORE HUNTED!!!!
HUGE BUFFALO & ELEPHANT 2009 - March 2010!!

Accommodations too were very good, and in fact if just the usual 2 clients are in camp, the rooms are actually very nice. FOOD was top notch, to say the least. Every single night we had steaks, pork chops, wild game, etc, etc. That was awesome for me, as I am a REAL meat guy!! Getting to Mthimkulu is extremely easy, requiring only a short 55 minute commercial flight from Joberg to Phalaborwa. No expensive charters are necessary, no tetsee flies to put with, good weather, and very little chance of Maleria. Local cell phone service can be had at some points in the hunting area, making communication easy, but of course I brought my SAT phone too. Kruger park is a short drive, allowing additional activities for the hunter or his family. Overall, just a REALLY GOOD PLACE!!
