Zimbabwe - Malapati

Malapati safari area adjoins the southern region of Gonarezhou, which is the Shona word for “Place of Many Elephants”. Gonarezhou National Park is part of the Great Limpopo Transfrontier Park (GLTP), a massive Pan-African Park that includes South Africa’s famed Kruger National Park and Mozambique ’s Gaza National Park . This is home to the last great elephants of Africa
 
The Mwenezi River is the boundary with the park and has water that flows year round acting as a huge draw card for hunting of game later in the dry season. The hunting camp is situated on the banks of the beautiful Mwenezi River . The National Parks base camp has an airstrip a few kilometers from our camp that we use for our guests should they chose to transfer by air.
 
Malapati Safari area is situated on the western boundary of the Gonarezhou National Park in the south of Zimbabwe . Our game hunting concession consists of both National Park Safari area and communal lands which allows for hunting elephant crops raiders that come out from the park. In total the hunting concession is over 17000Ha of wilderness.
