Iowa Whitetail Deer

We offer Archery, Shotgun, and Muzzleloader hunts in Iowa. Our fully guided hunts are all 5 day hunts and include lodging, meals, transportation to and from the Moline, IL airport, and transportation during your stay. Our main goal is that you have a Trophy Whitetail experience. That is why we limit the number of hunters we take to keep the pressure down. We will have several stand set ups per client in camp to make sure that we are constantly hunting “fresh” areas and can correctly hunt the wind at all times. We offer hunts in Iowa NR zones 7 and 8.

Our common interest is hunting huge bucks. Our goal is to give you the highest quality trophy hunting possible at a price which is reasonable to the hunter. Whitetail Ridge Outfitters farms are 100% “Fair Chase”. These farms are abundant with Whitetail Deer habitat that has produced many “Boone and Crockett” class bucks in the past and will again. The rugged hollows and creek bottoms spread through food plots, cornfields, soybean fields and CRP grounds. This land has some of the most elusive Trophy Whitetails in the country. We spend months locating the perfect stand locations to give you the best opportunity at a mature buck.

When on a fully guided hunt with us you will be provided with linens for your stay, continental breakfast, sack lunch, and a hot dinner. We will also assist in the tracking of your trophy, gutting, caping to the base of the skull, and harvest pictures after the hunt. We also walk our hunters to the stand. We usually sit in the stand all day as the weather and deer movement permits.

The application period for non resident deer hunters is usually the first Saturday in May through the 1st of June. Applications can be taken over the phone at 1 800 367 1188 or by applying online at https://www4.wildlifelicense.com/ia/start.php

A $1000 deposit is required for a booking. The hunter is responsible for applying for his/her tag. Failing to apply for a preference point or your deer tag will result in the loss of your deposit. A change of season or dates may result in the loss of your deposit.
