MOOSE: We conduct our moose hunts in two areas that consistently produce the biggest moose in Alaska. Our clients take some huge bulls every year and they also take some great grizzlies and black bears as well during the moose season. We have a main base camp with wall tents and wood stoves on the lower end of our main hunting river. We hunt a major valley that is a prime rutting area in September. We utilize our Supercubs to fly our clients in with a guide where you will float quietly down river calling and listening for rutting bulls. You will also stop and glass from outcroppings and hills next to the river until you harvest your bull.

After you harvest your moose, we will fly the meat cape and antlers to town and you can decide how much meat you want to fly to Anchorage along with your cape and antlers. The remainder of the meat will be given to the people in need in the local native community. We have expediters in Anchorage who will clean and dry the skull plate, flesh and cape so it can be delivered to the taxidermist of your choice.

There will also be some excellent fishing on your moose hunt for several types of fish such as Grayling, Northern Pike and Dolly Varden. So if you like to fish, please be sure to get a fishing license.

The Moose season is from September 5th - 25th.  Grizzly, Black bear, Wolf and Wolverine opens on September 1 and runs through the month. PRICE:.......$14,000 10 days

BEARS: BROWN - GRIZZLY - BLACK BEAR. Our coastal brown bear areas produce numerous record book bears every year and our clients have taken some giant bears for the last several years in a row. We do both spring and fall hunts for these giants.

The inland Grizzly, though somewhat smaller in size, makes up for his size in tenacity and is among the fiercest animals on earth. Our clients have taken some record Grizzly bears and many are silver tip in color. We primarily do the fall hunts out of our moose camp keeping an eye on moose gut piles or in the blueberry meadows up high.

We harvest many black bears that exceed seven feet and have fantastic black bear hunts in both spring and fall.

Our spring hunts can start as early as April unless it is an unusually warm spring. Very few bears are out moving until the first part of May. On the spring hunt you will spend long days sitting and glassing open hill sides until a big bear is spotted, then you will make your stalk. Near the end of May, many bears will begin to lose their long winter fur so we normally conclude our spring hunt by May 25.

The fall Grizzly hunts begin in September and will run through October.

The bear populations are at an all time high so there has never been a better time to hunt the largest carnivore on earth.

Dall Sheep/Mountain Goat: If you are in good physical condition and have the desire to hunt sheep, you should take advantage of this opportunity while tags are still sold over the counter. We hunt the white sheep in mountainous terrain so although this hunt may likely be the most physically challenging hunt you'll ever experience, it can also be the most rewarding. Be careful because sheep fever is very contagious and you may get hooked for life.

Our sheep hunts are conducted using a Super Cub to get you and your guide up into sheep country. You will then become very intimate with your back pack and may have to hike as far as 15 miles to find yourself in the presence of white rams. We do most of our sheep hunting in August when the weather is usually pretty nice.

We hunt our mountain goats in the coastal mountains of Prince William Sound and the Gulf of Alaska. This area holds an excellent population of goats. A hunter can also combine this hunt with a brown bear, black bear or moose. A hunter should be in good physical shape as the mountains are steep. It should also be noted that this area can deal with some of the worst weather Alaska has to offer so please be prepared with the proper gear.
