Hunting Down Under

Hello!!!!   Just returned from an incredible trip to the land down under and we got some great stuff on film.  Clients Howard and Kayelene Langley and LLoyd and Annie Mcaffitty to the 16 hour trip from Dallas to Sydney with Tyler Sharp and I.  We spent 14 days hunting Banteng, Buffalo, Moluccan and Javan Rusa, as well as Wild Boar.  We had a ball.  We took five new world records with muzzeloader!!! I had to brag to my good buddy Jim Shockey over the sat phone when we got back but he had some bragging of his one to do as he just shot a giant Kafue Lechwe and an awesome Sitatunga in Zambia with our man Rich.  The man's something else, he is without question the most active hunter I have ever known.

Aaron left for B.C. with Nick of Bone Collectors and Randy Morgan, a Client from Fairview, Missouri. They went on this Black Bear hunt with Abe of Big Boar Outfitters. I am sure they will duke a few monsters as Abe has one of the best bear areas on the planet.  I myself have been hanging out with the family for the last couple of days after returning from Vernon, Texas.  Jeremiah Bennett and I were hosting Dan Hood who won the hunt at a poker tournament hosted by the Dallas Safari Club's Young Professionals Group.  Though we had tough conditions Dan took a nice gobbler and a couple of wild hogs.  We are off to Joplin, Missouri to hunt Eastern Turkey this week so I will let ya'll know the results of that trip next week.  Until then, shoot strait and dream big.

Today Aaron and I are working on a variety of hunts for some clients so things are going good.  It beats the hell out of sitting around doing nothing.

Aaron is off to B.C. to Film an episode of the upcoming Michael Waddell's Bone Collectors Television show with Nick Mundt.  They are going to hunt with one of our best friends, Abe Dougan of Big Boar Outfitters.  I hope they have a good hunt, Aaron is not a good shot so it will probably make a great blooper segment.

Anyway, I have also been working with Shockey all morning on his hunts to Zambia And Botswana.  I will keep you all posted on the results of these hunts.
