Botswana, which is the same size as Texas, continues to be a favorite destination for those hunters who enjoy the “old style” tented safari in Africa’s wild, wide open spaces - particularly if their quarry is a big bull Elephant. 85% of this sparsely populated country is a sandy semi-desert called the Kalahari and one of the many attractions is the world’s largest inland delta called the Okavango Delta spanning 16 000 square kilometers of swamps, rivers, channels, picturesque islands and papyrus reed beds. It is a wildlife paradise teaming with big game, birds and fish. 17% of the country is set aside purely for wildlife conservation.
We are proud and excited to announce that we now have our own concession in fabulous Botswana. The hunting block is called NG34 Sankuyu and lies on the edge of the famous Okavango Delta. Bordered in the North & West by the popular Moremi Game Reserve, Sankuyu is an easy 90 minute drive from Maun.
In addition to fantastic Trophy Elephant hunting, we offer superb hunting for Lion, Leopard, Buffalo and plains game in our area, as well as birdshooting Safaris to Sankuyu to hunt for a variety of game birds such as Guinea Fowl, Francolin, Doves, White-faced Duck, Knob Billed Duck, Egyptian Geese, the challenging Sandgrouse and more. This is a unique experience as shooters will be hunting the birds in Big game country, providing them with ample opportunity to view game, including some of the Big 5. We can also plan side trips before or after your safari to the various Game Reserves in Botswana and even Tiger fishing in the unspoilt Okavango Delta.
